Self Custody

After the revolution’s tumultuous upheaval,
A new leader will rise to take command,
No longer will violence hold sway,
Consent must be the guiding hand.
To bring about a fair and equal land,
Self-custody must be steadfast and sure,
Only then can power be redistributed,
And all held to the same laws and more.
